Hamster

Hamster is a pet that’s looks like mice. But hamster is very different from mice. Mice get long tail and hamster’s doesn’t and it’s about 3 to 5mm. Also, the resistance of mice is stronger too. The type of the two hamsters I am petting now is call Roborovskis hamster. The genus type is call phodopus. They are the tiniest hamster of all. When they are done with growing, they are about 4-5cm long. This kind of hamster is very curious, intelligence, timid, and they are easily got startled. They don’t usually squeak or speak like other hamsters, the only time that they squeak it’s when them both fight so hard and they get hurt.

My brother and I like to play with hamster because they are cute and some action that they do are funny sometimes. A friend of my brother told my brother that there are new born hamsters so if my brother wants to pet two of them. As the result, my brother and his girlfriend go to Petco, which is a store for getting material and they prepared for every things. We call one of them “Big brother” because he is very curious, strong and he likes to escape. We had experience that he got out of the hamster cage by squeezing through the bars. Once he is lucky and fell in the trashcan so that we easily found him. But there are a few times he hided and we had to spend a day just to find him. The stronger hamster is bigger than the other one so the smaller one is hard to fight back. He always lays on the other one and whenever he is fighting with the other hamster, he push harder and doesn’t let the other one move unless I try to scare him. In addition, the other hamster likes to follow him to anywhere. They are cute when they are sleeping. Hamster usually lay down to sleep but one of them likes to face to the side which I never seen before.
